Did you know the El Paso Public Library is sponsoring a year-long reading challenge called Reading in the 915?
November's reading challenge celebrates Native American Heritage Month by encouraging participants to read a book by and/or about indigenous people and the valuable contributions they have made, past and present, in American history. Readers who complete this or any of the other monthly challenges can come to the library and pick up a sticker to commemorate acquiring their monthly reading badge.
For anyone looking to complete this challenge, the Dorris Van Doren Library has a display of Young Adult fiction and non-fiction written by and about Native people. Come check it out.
